Sweet, friendly kitty Buster lived a pretty uneventful life until his beloved owner passsed away and he found himself at FAAS. With the pandemic bearing down, we sent him to stay in a loving foster home until he could be adopted, but Buster had other ideas! Frightened and confused, he escaped the first chance he had and weeks passed with no sightings. Then an eagle-eyed citizen sent us a photo she had taken of a sleek black cat eating from a Tupperware container left out for a feral colony in Jack London Square. It was Buster. This resilient kitty is now back at FAAS, a tad bald on his back and legs from stress-induced hair loss, but we think it will grow back. He is available for adoption and ready to spend the rest of his life loving and entertaining a new family in a safe and stable environment. His adoption fee is waived.
