Hi, I'm Mabel, a young long-legged and very smart sable German shepherd. I love to please my handler every chance I get, especially when there is a reward involved (food works nicely)!

I adore people and only want to love and be loved.

Only problem is I'm just a teenager who hasn't been out in the world much yet. I'm thrilled but also nervous and kind of anxious when I go on walks and see other dogs. I'm looking for a nice strong person, or couple, or family with mostly grown kids, who can commit to teaching me how to act (no jumping or playing with human arms). In exchange I will be the bestest, most devoted family dog!

When people see me they say, "Oh, how beautiful she is!"

I'm not sure what that means, but if it gets me a forever home faster, then yes, I'll say I am a very pretty girl, too!
