Merle is a shy but sweet young cattle dog mix. It takes him some time to acclimate to new people but once comfortable he's friendly and playful. He's the perfect size if you seek a pup that is neither big or tiny. He's just right.
This gentle guy is easy to harness for walks. Outside, he's tentative, giving rain puddles a wide berth, comically peering around hedges, and preferring to mosey along sniffing and exploring at a leisurely pace. He can go the distance on day hikes while still being light enough to pick up and hoist into the van or dog wash later on.
So if you've been looking for a great new addition to the family with cattle dog heritage, Merle would be a great choice. He's just about perfect!
